About
A working archive
Practice Archive is a working archive for an artist’s practice. Catalogue your works, keep images and documents alongside them, and track where each piece has been — exhibited, sold, consigned, on loan.
It is built for the record-keeping that accumulates around making work, and which is almost always reconstructed later from memory, photographs and email.
Email a photo in
Send an image to your archive’s own address and it arrives as a draft entry — title, medium, dimensions and year read from the photograph and from whatever you wrote in the email. Nothing is catalogued until you approve it.
One record per work
Images, documents, dimensions, editions and notes live on the work itself, so the catalogue entry is the thing you look at rather than a row pointing at a folder somewhere else.
Provenance as it happens
Record presentations, sales, consignments and loans as they occur. The history of a work is built up while you still remember it, not assembled years later for a survey or an estate.
A portfolio you choose
Publish a selected subset as a public page on its own address. You pick the works, the order and whether a price shows. Everything else stays private.
