You don't start from scratch
Give us your website and your Instagram handle and we go looking. Works collected years ago and never photographed properly come back too. Nothing enters your Work until you say so.
Give us your website and your Instagram handle and we go looking. Works collected years ago and never photographed properly come back too. Nothing enters your Work until you say so.
Images, dimensions, editions, documents, and the whole history of a piece: where it showed, who collected it, when it went out on loan. Built while you still remember it, not reconstructed years later for a survey or an estate.

Choose the writing that already sounds like you. That is what it works from, and you can see and change it whenever you want. Everything comes back as a draft you edit.

Available and Collected update themselves as your Work changes. Your writing appears on your own site, at your own address, first. You curate; you never maintain a website.
Forward the flyer, the finalist email, the consignment note. Your CV writes itself and sits on your site.
Send an invoice straight from the work. Your collector, your price, your payment details. We never take a percentage of anything.
Share a consignment so you and your gallery are looking at the same list, kept current without a single email.
Grant a gallery permission and it can carry your Work and your blog posts on its own website and its own social accounts, putting your work in front of its collectors as well as yours, credited to you, always linking back to your site. You choose what is shared, and you can withdraw permission at any time.
And if you are looking for representation, opt in to be found by galleries seeking work like yours, or stay private. A gallery sees nothing you have not shared with it.

Give it your statements and it reflects your practice back to you: the themes, the materials, the conversation you're part of. Then it asks how true that feels. You correct it. Every work carries the ideas behind it.

Kit reads what you send in. A photograph from the studio, an invoice, a forwarded flyer: Kit works out what it is and files it where it belongs. Across all four, every day, in the background. Nothing Kit files reaches your archive until you have looked at it and said yes.

Margot looks at the practice as a whole and says what it is still missing — a practice you recognise as your own, a statement that matches the work, a bio that stands up, a record of the shows and talks behind it — one next step at a time, each with a program to help you get there, and never a score out of ten.

See all plansPractice Archive is a small Australian company founded by Meli and Bob Axford, built so that creatives can enjoy their practice more and get more out of it.
Our motto is simple: make a living, not a killing. Every service in Practice Archive is priced at what it costs us plus a small margin, nothing more. That keeps the platform competitive, and because we design, build and run everything ourselves, it is a price others will struggle to match.
Real help from a person, bought a half hour at a time, on any plan. Domain transfers, mail setup, the sign-in that will not. Not a chatbot.
